Graycliff Hotel & Cigars
In the heart of Nassau lays a great little retreat, the Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant. Graycliff is a historical village that treats you to a world of indulgence. The village is laid out on cobblestone streets and old lamp lights. Graycliff produces their own Chocolate, Coffee and Cigars.
This mansion was built in 1740 by a famous pirate of the Caribbean Captain John Graysmith. In 1776 Nassau was captured by the US Navy and made it their headquarters and garrisons, which is why the famous wine cellar has bars on its windows .
The mansion became a Inn in 1844 and has been loved ever since.
In the year 2000 the new owners expanded the property by adding the famous Graycliff Cigar Factory and Restaurant. This super ultra sheik hotel has it all from the lush green property to the mosaic tiled pool and lets not forget the cuisine and fine cigars. there are over 250,000 bottles of fine wine too.
