The ECUADOR

Founded in 1961 Camacho Cigars started in Cuba. Simon Camacho started the business and then was exiled. Simon moved the business to Miami Florida where he gained popularity in the United States. After the passing of Simon the company was bought by the Eiroa family. In 2008 the factory in Danli Honduras was opened. Many Years later the Camacho line has grown into a recognized name with plenty to choose from in a crowded market.

Camacho's new line is the Ecuador line. Master blenders have been hard at work to bring yet another premium cigar to you. This cigar was born deep in the Andes Mountains using aged tobacco. The wrapper is of course the Ecuador Habano with a rich deep texture. The binder is a Brazilian Mata and the fillers are a aged blend of Dominican Pelo De Oro and Honduran Corojo and Criollo Ligero. Now that's a mesh of flavor my friends!

Well as soon as the Camacho Ecuador is lit the aroma's start in permeate the air. The construction of this cigar is great. Perfect coloring throughout the cigar and a well oiled cap. The are no imperfections to the touch and it cut very well.

The first part of the cigar has a woodsy raisin flavor with a hint of spicy cinnamon. The smoke is a light gray in color and is thick. The midsection brings a full body leather flavor and the ash is perfect in structure and a nice medium gray. The end of this smoke has a little bang to the flavor. A rich musky espresso takes over and hints of smoky leather hit the air.

The burn was consistent and the draw was great, not needed to re light at any point.
You will not miss this stick by its bright blue band. The Camacho Ecuador comes in boxes of 20 and there are different sizes to choose from as well.
