Million of people are using electronic mail (email) service daily in official and personal life. There are many free email services available on internet but on the top there are Yahoo, Hotmail (MSN), AOL and Gmail available for free. There is a tight competition between them. I am using free email service since 1998. I made my first email account at hotmail.com but rapid changes became in this field. Hotmail and Yahoo also made changes in there services.
Everything was smooth in Email world but Google introduced new email service called Gmail. They introduced many new features with plenty of email disk quota (free of cost). Gmail launched at 1st of April 2004 and introduced 1GB inbox disk quota. At that time Gmail was invitation only service. Gmail beta is open service now since 7th of February 2007. Gmail is still in beta mode. In my point of view. They are best email service. They offer plenty of features. Hotmail and Yahoo are too far.
