Instructions

1. Remove the Gauze cap.


Locate the silver cap (known as the fuel sender access panel) toward the end of the trunk. Remove the cap using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket and pull it up from the floor. Unplug the harness to the fuel pump and fuel sender underneath with your hands.


3. Push in the quick-connect fittings on the fuel lines with your hands and then remove them from the fuel pump. Use the brass drift and hammer to push the retaining ring around the fuel pump, counterclockwise. Pull the fuel pump out of the gas tank with your hands.
