Provided the windscreen wipers on your Jeep admit worn absent or are causing a smudgy windscreen, it's bit to replace them. While the process to remove them is relatively easy, it's important to perform the steps carefully so as not to damage the vehicle or the glass windshield.

Removing Jeep Windshield Wipers
1. Ensure the wipers are no longer viable. Typically, a good standard is to replace wiper blades on a Jeep after one year. However, if you use the wipers excessively (off-roading, for instance), you may want to change them more frequently. Moreover, if the wipers reduce your visibility rather than enhance it, it's time to replace them.
To remove, press the release tab and pull firmly away from the wiper rod connected to the Jeep. If there is too much resistance, you may need to lubricate the latch with WD-40 or soap.4. Clean the wiper rod after you've removed the old blade. Check your owner's manual for the correct wiper size. If you do not have the manual, bring the Jeep to an auto-supply store and the employees will be able to size the windshield.
3. Remove the wipers. Most windshield-wiper models have similar latch and release devices for easy removal. See the photo for an example of this type of latch.2. Change all wipers at the same time. Many Jeeps have both front and back windshield wipers. It's best to get on a schedule of changing all at once since it will save you money in the long run.
Using a sponge and soap, clean the dirt, grime and oil that have collected on the rod. This will ensure a smooth installation of the new wiper blade.
