While maintaining ample cargo space, the end of the roof was kept low to realize the sleek silhouette from body front to rear. Its elegant but active appearance conveys the Subaru Levorg Sports Tourer Concept's performance potential. The dynamic front design with a three-dimensional feel was made possible by employing a nose cone. It features the standard Subaru design motif of the hexagon grille. The hawk eye headlights emphasize Levorg Sport Tourer Concept's energetic aura. The body colour is available in "Metallic blue grey steel" or "Pearl crystal white,” both never used in production before.

Two power units are available for the Subaru Levorg Sports Tourer Concept. The newly developed 1.6-litre horizontally-opposed Boxer DIT power unit offers both brisk driving pleasure and superb fuel economy recorded at 5.7-litres per 100 km. The engine’s notable fuel efficiency was enhanced by Subaru’s first adoption of DIT and start/stop technology. Fill up the tank and the 1.6-litre power unit can cover an impressive 1000 km without refuelling. The 1.6-litre DIT is fit for the Subaru Levorg Sports Tourer Concept as it is economical and suitable for regular unleaded petrol. Matched with the economical engine is Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT.

Pure thrilling performance is provided by the 2.0-litre Boxer DIT petrol power plant. Power output is recorded at 221 kW (296 hp) and a torque peak of 400 Nm. Sport Lineartronic delivers the high power output from the 2.0-litre Boxer unit to the wheels. Sports tourers are expected to offer both sporty performance and quality driving comfort even on long journeys. These demands were met by enhancing rigidity in various parts of the chassis and body of Subaru Levorg Sports Tourer Concept.
