The French Cigar

Le Navarre from France

The French Puro Le Navarre was born
around 2010 in the hill of France.
This is a unusual place for a cigar to
be produced in France. The cigar is
is carefully done by a special grower
that comes from Cuba. The techniques
are all tradition to ensure the quality.

This is a limited production cigar that comes from the South West of France. The name Navarre is a region in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques in the Pyrenees Mountains. The cigar is made up of 100% French Tobacco that is produced in Bearn a subdivision of Pyrenees Atlantiques.
Constructed very well this cigar once again is made with a French Wrapper, French Binder & French Filler.

The cigar has a healthy oily sheen to it. The wrapper is done perfect with a nice cap. The band is a orange red tone with white lettering and France written on the bottom.
The cigar brings a oak/potpourri aroma and flavor upon lighting. The mid way of this cigar brings a cedar wood and cherry flavor.
The last of the stick had a nice herb and pepper with a sweetness. The aroma is earthy and the smoke is a medium grey. The ash is on the dark side and the cigar stayed lit with only one touch up.

All in all I would say this is a mild to medium cigar and is done very well It will be interesting to see what the mountains of France can produce in the future.
