Salt Water Power

Quant e-Sportlimousine

A car that is powered by a system that
uses saltwater for fuel. That is what the company NanoFlowcell AG has created. Similar to the way hydrogen fuel cells work the saltwater is channeled through a membrane between two tanks, this creates an electric charge that is then stored and distributed by capacitors.

The developers of the Quant e-Limo
say the car is now approved for
testing on Europe roads. This new
technology will open up many uses
for this energy says NanoFlowcell AG.
The technology would then be used
in maritime, rail and aviation as well
keeping costs down and meeting
environmental standards.

The car creates no emissions and has
a great amount of power. The power
would launch the car from 0 to 62.5 mph in 2.0 seconds. The current voltage is at 600 volts.
This future car is not for sale yet and no prices have been determined but it is estimated that the vehicle could start at $1 miliion euro.
