Lampless Projector

EPSON  LS9600E & LS10000

The two new Pro Cinema Series Projectors from Epson are packed with the latest technology and make the theatre come alive. The two choices are very similar but they are also different. The LS9600E is the lower end and still packed with great
benefits.

Epson LS9600e

The LS9600e is a full 1080p 2D or 3D 1300 lumens widescreen projector. The projector is THX Certified and has Wireless HD (WiHD) which provides full HD video quality.

There real benefit is the chip technology the Liquid Crystal on Quartz (LCOQ) with a lamp less laser light source which means there is no lamp to replace, much quieter and it is energy efficient.

The benefit of the chip and lamp less technology is the color is more precise and sharp. The downside is the brightness is down a little so the room needs to be darker or make sure you have a high quality screen. The LS10000 offers all the same but has 1500 lumen's and no WiHD but has a surprise. The surprise is a that it uses 3 1080p LCOQ chips to produce 4K quality.

The LS10000 has a diagonal pixel shifting technology that contribute to the crisp display. This help with lower resolution display too. You can also connect a true 4K source but it will have to go through the chip process displaying only the LS10000 quality which is very good.
