French Super Car

RENAULT ALPINE
A110-50

When it comes to design I happen to think Renault is on a cutting edge. Renault is not a car that comes to mind for Super Cars in the US but let me tell you they will be a major player with the big boys if the A110-50 hit the streets. A concept since 2012 this
power house vehicle is very advanced and keeps the Alpine name and reputation alive.

Built with the Megane Trophy race machine and the original A110 in mind the A110-50 captures both and preserves the motor sport legends. The carbon fiber body and that Alpine Blue are like getting a bottle of cold water after walking in the dessert for 10 days, refreshing! This car screams aerodynamics and down pressure.

The air flow was achieved by using the Computational Fluid Dynamics used by Formula 1 for their race machines. The weight distribution is great placing 47.8% over the front 21 inch wheels. A large wing hides behind the 3D back window to keep the car grounded. The car comes with an advanced ride system to control, height, camber, castor, alignment and anti-roll.

The concept has a 24 valve V6 with 400 HP and 311 pounds of torque. This may change with the possibility of a production for 2016. The F1 styled gear box has 6 forward gears and can be switched from handle to paddle. The car only weighs 1940 lbs.
