The Lagonda LG45R Rapide





On September 13th at Bonham's Goodwood Revival this Bentley Lagonda will roll out on stage and a winning bidder will be the owner of the most famous pre-war racing car in history. The 1936 LG45R Rapide is suppose to fetch around 1.8 Million Euro. 








This Lagonda in 1937 was a Fox and Nicholl race car competing in the 24 Hour Le Mans and the British Diver's Club 500 miles. The famous car was also in the Post War Goodwood Nine Hours Race and the Mille Miglia. 










Bentley took the Lagonda and transformed it using a V12 Engine and usable dash control panel. The interior was leather.  











This car was known for reach 100 mph. This car is in perfect running order and has been meticulously clean.
