Red Barchetta

1956-57 Alfa Romeo 1900 Barchetta

I am not sure if this is what the group Rush was singing about but it sure fits the story!

The 1956-57 1900 Alfa Romeo Barchetta was and still is a awesome site to see. The body lines were believed to have been carved out from the mind of Virgilio Conrero. Concero was a engine tuner by trade that was responsible for several Alfa Romeo and Opel GT.

The 1900 gave fact to the amount of cc's 1975 to be exact and around 115 bhp.
The top speed 130 mph. A 5 speed manual clutch.

This 2 seater is a true classic car. A simple yet innovative approach to the meaning sports car! The large gauges let you see what you were feeling as you disappeared into the dust you left behind.

Words from Rush:

Well weathered leather
Hot metal and oil
The scented country air
Sunlight on chrome
The blur of the landscape
Every nerve aware
