Zenos E10 debuts at Autosport International show in Birmingham

Zenos E10 debuts at Autosport International show in Birmingham - At the current Autosport International show in Birmingham (2014), a new car made its debut. That new car is the Zenos E10 — an exciting new sports car with a lot of potential.

The first time this car was announced back in 2013. All kind of “crazy” rumors were released about this car, but most of them were false.

The Zenos E10 is a light sports car which weighs in at 650 kg (1433 lbs). It has a 2.0-litre Ford GDI petrol engine which can produce up to 200 bhp (147 kW) and 155 lbs-ft (210 Nm) of torque.

Maybe 200 bhp and 155 lbs-ft of torque doesn’t look much, but the car is a fast little beast. Because of its light weight, the car can accelerate very nicely. It should be able to do 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around 4 seconds and should reach a top speed of 135 mph (~217 km/h). However, these numbers are not official yet, so it means that these number can be slightly different in reality.

The Zenos E10 features a rear-wheel-drive system and a 6-speed transverse manual gearbox.

Not just the car has been revealed, but the price also has been revealed. The Zenos E10 (standard model) will cost 25K GBP (£24,995). A special launch edition of 75 cars costing 28,995 GBP (£) each has been announced as well. These are official prices.

In the future, we should expect to see a roadster version of the E10 (with E11 badges) and a coupe version (with E12 badges). This was officially confirmed by the makers of this car, so it’s not just “hopes”.
