Eye of the Forest: Nahuel Huapi National Park in Argentina |
This beautiful photo is taken in a hiking trail known as Sendero de Los Arrayanes in the Nahuel Huapi National Park in Argentina. The trail winds from Puerto Panuelo to Lago Moreno through a lot of bamboo making the trail look like a Eye of the Forest in several places. The beautiful photo is captured by Adry.
The Nahuel Huapi National Park was established in 1934 and is the oldest national park in Argentina. It surrounds Nahuel Huapi Lake in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes. With an area of 7,050 square kilometer (2,720 square miles), the Nahuel Huapi National Park is the largest national park in the region. The national park is dominated by the high mountain chain of the Andes, many lakes, rapid rivers, waterfalls, snow-clad peaks, glaciers and extensive forests.
