How to Make a Polaris 90cc Faster

ATV off-roading is a sport that can be enjoyed by the entire family, even children. Polaris makes two 90cc ATVs suitable for children, which are set at a maximum speed of 10 MPH. As your child's experience grows, you can increase that speed by adjusting the throttle screw.

Instructions

    1

Look on the right side handle bar for the throttle control. Locate the adjustment mechanism on the bottom of the throttle. This looks like a screw with a bolt on the bottom.

    2

Turn the jam bolt counterclockwise to loosen it from the body of the throttle using a wrench.

    3

Turn the screw clockwise to increase the speed using a screwdriver.

    4

Tighten the jam nut to secure the speed adjustment in the new position.
