How to Install a Stereo in a 1996 Grand Am GT

The Grand Am originally hit showrooms in 1973, but only lasted six years, as Pontiac cut it from production in 1980. In 1985, Pontiac resurrected the Grand Am, and it continued until Pontiac completely overhauled its lineup in 2006. The 1996 Grand Am GT came standard with an AM-FM stereo system and had an optional cassette or CD player available. Installing a new stereo in the 1996 Grand Am GT is not a difficult task, but it does require care when removing the dashboard bezel it may be fragile due to its age.
