Before you can use your Apple iPhone 5 as a modem or what we call tethering, you first need to setup the mobile data or internet on it. Once its done, you can follow the instruction below.
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Personal Hotspot
- Slide the switch beside the Personal Hotspot to turn it On
- If its just your first time to use tethering or personal hotspot on your iPhone 5, it will ask if you want to turn on WiFi and Bluetooth or USB Only
If you decided to use USB only, you will have to install iTunes on your computer and connect the USB cable to make it work. Otherwise, you can connect other wireless devices or computer via WiFi or Bluetooth.
