There are so many beautiful waterfalls in the world. Some are great in size while some are amazingly beautiful. I have done a little research to find out the world's most beautiful waterfalls. According to my research, the following 5 waterfalls are the most beautiful waterfalls in the world as they are huge in size as well as offer breathtaking beauty. Enjoy the list. 

1. Niagara Falls, Canada – America


The Niagara Falls are 175 ft long waterfalls on the Niagara River, straddling the border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York. They are one of the most beautiful falls in the world. Every year about 12 million tourists come to visit the Niagara Falls and enjoy its amazing beauty. It is a famous tourists attraction as well as a huge source of hydroelectric power generation. 

2. Iguazu Falls, Argentina – Brazil


Iguazu Falls are among the most beautiful and majestic natural waterfalls in the world. The falls themselves sit on the Iguazu River and divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The falls span the border between Brazil and Argentina. The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometers of the Iguazu River. The Iguazu Falls are known as one of the more popular natural tourist destinations in South America.  

3. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe


The Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The Local people call it "Mosi-oa-Tunya" -- the smoke that thunders and the Falls are remarkable. The Victoria falls is 1708 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world. It drops between 90m and 107m into the Zambezi Gorge and an average of 550,000 cubic meters of water plummet over the edge every minute. 

4. Detian Falls, Vietnam – China


The Detian Waterfall is said to be Asia's largest transnational waterfall because it is shared by both China and Vietnam. The waterfalls is in the southwestern Chinese province of Guangxi, bordering Vietnam. The falls consists of two parts. There's the main waterfall (named Detian Waterfall) on the Chinese side of the Guichun River, and then there's the Ban Gioc Waterfall (Banyue Waterfall) on the Vietnamese side of the river.

5. Huangguoshu Waterfall, China


Huangguoshu Waterfall (Yellow Fruit Tree Falls), a milky way in miniature, is the largest waterfall in Asia. Seventy-four meters (243 feet) high and eighty-one meters (266 feet) wide, it is a scenic marvel. Its water rushes down to a pond named Xiniu Pond (Xiniu Tan) with thunderous roars which can be heard in five kilometers away.
