How to Replace a 2007 Frontier Mirror

Some of the most important safety features on just about any vehicle are the mirrors. The 2007 Nissan Frontier has a mirror installed on each side of the vehicle. When these crack, shatter, or come apart from the automobile, it's usually recommended to replace them as quickly as possible. On a 2007 Nissan Frontier, the process is fairly straightforward and can be accomplished in just a few minutes.

Instructions

    1

Detach the old mirror. Press the top of the mirror to angle it upward as far as it can go. Slide your fingers into the bottom of the mirror and place one hand at each side of the mirror.

    2

Pull firmly to remove the mirror from the casing. Pull the two cords from the back of the glass away from the mirror. You'll only see cords attached if the mirror is heated.

    3

Connect the two cords to the back of the new mirror, if it's heated. Slip the hooks, called holder slides, into the corresponding slots inside the mirror's casing.

    4

Fold the glass gently downward until you hear it click into place. Check to make sure the mirror is secure by firmly pressing all four corners of the mirror.
