This piece was done for the winter 2012 issue of University of New Hampshire Magazine. The article was about ocean mapping: unlocking the mysteries of the deep. A research group at UNH uses multi-beam sonar beams to see the contours of the ocean floor, sunken ships, underwater mountains and etc. It was such an interesting article to work with and I was very happy to be able to take this assignment (many thanks to Valerie!).
