First of all,you should make a decision where you want to set up the rear-view camera. more over,drill a hole for the camera. Check the Installation Guide ( Mounting Instructions ) to see what size will suit you. make sure that the hole is not too large or the camera will fall out.
Place the camera in the hole using the rubber grommet supplied with the camera. Make sure the camera and grommet are tight.
Attach the cable from the camera to a wireless backup lights on your vehicle. You'll have to splice the wires together. Use wire cutters to cut the wires, leaving enough excess wire to connect. Strip the ends of the wire to expose the bare wire using wire strippers. Splice the wires together using a two-into-one connector. This will give the rear-view camera power when you put the vehicle in reverse.Check this photos carefully if you are not sure:
between auto dvd gps and camera:
"video output" from camera connect to "camera in" of the auto dvd gps
between auto dvd gps and vehicle
"Back control wire" from auto dvd gps connect to the "switch wire of the back lamp" of the vehicle
between rear camera and car
"power cable" (red) from camera connect to the "power cable of the back lamp" of the vehicle(Some vehicles such as bmw need to connect a Relay to help the camera power on when reversing)
"GND"(black) wire from camera connect to the "GND" wire of the back lamp of the vehiche
Route the camera's output wire to the rear-view monitor and connect the wire to the monitor's input.
Reconnect the battery, start the vehicle and put the car in reverse. The rear-view monitor should turn on and give you a view of what's behind you.
