7007 M6 Mazda 6 GPS Navigation Entertainment System Mounting Instructions
Step 1:Factory headunit in Mazda6
Step 2: Lift the decoration board with plastic scraper
Step 3: Remove the decoration board.
Step 4: Decoration board removed.
Step 5.1: Lift decoration board to the left with plastic scraper and then remove it, mind the dash in position against it.
Step 5.2: Lift decoration board to the right with plastic scraper and then remove it, mind the dash in position against it.
Step 6: Decoration boards removed.
Step 7:Move gear shift lever to N.
Step 8.1: Lift the bottom of the panel with plastic scraper, Mind the dash in position against it.
Step 8.2: Lift the central & top of the panel with plastic scraper, Mind the dash in position against it.
Step 9: Slide out the panel and unplug all the connectors exposed.
Step 10: Panel removed.
Step 11: Undo the four screws go through the vent compartment.
Step 12: Slide out the compartment and unplug the connectors exposed.
Step 13: Vent compartment removed.
Step 14: Lift the vent panel with plastic scraper and slide it out.
Step 15:Undo the four screws used to fix the factory headunit.
Step 16: Slide out the factory headunit and unplug all connectors.
Step 17: Factory headunit removed.
Step 18:Remove the five mounting brackets from factory headunit(one to the left one to the right) (to the bottom of the headunit) (one to the left one to the right).
Step 19:The five mounting brackets from factory headunit.
Step 20:Mount the five brackets to the aftermarket headunit.
Step 21:Connect all wirings.
Step 22:Put the aftermarket unit into the dash and screw it on.
Step 23:Mount the vent panel back.
Step 24:Mount the vent compartment and screw it on.
Step 25:Connect all wiring beneath the panel.
Step 26:Mount the decoration board. mind the dash in position against it.
Step 27:Decoration board mounted.
Step 28:Replacement finished.
