Budget 2009-2010 : The spotlight this month highlights the Budget, one of the most important annual fiscal event which not only recites the financial accomplishments of the previous year, but also denotes the new fiscal policy of the government for the forthcoming year. Greetings : The festival of Maha Shivratri (means the 'Grand Night devoted for worshipping of Lord Shiva'). This day is looked upon with greatest reverence and respect by the devotees of Lord Shiva. This festival is celebrated every year on the eve of Krishna Paksh. Elaborate puja ceremonies are performed on this day by chanting various hymns, bhajans of Lord Shiva and performing Rudrabhisheka.
