Big Announcement From Hordit.com

www.hordit.com
Loyal Hordit Users,

This note is to make you aware of some changes that are coming to Hordit.

We're all being affected in one way or another by the economic recession playing out worldwide.  We at Hordit are not immune.  Our intention from the start was to provide a base service for free supported by a subscription service.  Unfortunately, funding dynamics are changing and we have been forced to alter our plans.

Effective immediately, all users will continue to have free access to all Hordit features for 90 days.  After 90 days you will be asked to subscribe to our basic service in order to continue using the site.  Cost for the subscription is tentatively set at $5 per month or $45 per year (a 25% savings).

New users will be subject to the same deal - a 90 day free trial period after which time a subscription to Hordit can be purchased.

In addition, we will be rolling out new features every 3 to 6 months.  Though I'm hesitant to say too much about what these will be, I will tell you that the much-requested bulk upload feature will be among them.  We feel the planned features will only increase the value of our service to you.

As always, we'd like you to be part of the discussion.  We've created a Google Groups discussion to kick this around.

Anyone can participate in this discussion and we'd like your feedback.

How do you feel about this change?

How do you feel about the proposed subscription price?

What new features would you most like to see and be willing to pay for?

And if you don't feel comfortable participating in the public discussion, feel free to reply to this email and let me know directly.

Sincerely,

Matt Brown
