Well, according to Kevin Rose's blog (
www.kevinrose.com) a lot of former TechTV folks have been let go, show's have been cancelled (including Unscrewed--not really one I watched, but I did like Martin Sargent), and The ScreenSavers is being "re-vamped". Now I don't know what all this means, but isn't this just another attempt to screw up what's left of the TechTV dynasty? I can only imagine this means that Dan Huard is gone--sorry, Dan. He never seemed very comfortable in front of the camera. I sure hope Kevin and Sarah weather the storm. And hey, it's only been a couple of months, but Alex has actually become a mainstay of my tech diet (though filling Patrick and Leo's shoes has had to be difficult).
You might also have noticed that Fresh Gear hasn't exactly been fresh since the G4/TechTV merger took place. Hmmmmmm? Anyway, I'll keep watching, but I have little hope of things improving. How sad. :-(
