Firefox Extensions for Internet Explorer?

Well, not exactly. Feeling the pinch from a few million Firefox downloads, Microsoft has created an Internet Explorer add-ons (Microsoft-ese for "extensions") website as part of their Windows Marketplace--click here to check it out. It's mostly third-party stuff, mostly free (though some add-ons do cost money). Now, I honestly don't believe that Firefox is poised to take over the universe, mostly because too many people don't even know how to download and install it. But the competition with IE can't hurt--it never has. I've been an off-again/on-again user of Firefox since 0.4, so I know it has potential (in fact, I'm writing this article in Firefox right now), but don't paint the big M$ out of the picture quite yet. This war's just getting fun...
