Use a torque wrench to tighten all of the fittings once the intercooler assembly and surrounding supports are completely installed. Reconnect the battery. Tighten all of the bolts with your fingers, and install the assembly back in the engine compartment.
6. Reattach all hoses and brackets, basically working in reverse. Tighten all clamps and bolts with your fingers until everything is in place, in case you need to shift or maneuver the new intercooler into a better position.5. Attach the new performance intercooler to the original mounting bracket. Some performance intercooler kits may have small adapters that will allow a proper mounting to almost any type of stock bracket.
