4. Use a wrench to unscrew each of the 15 bolts surrounding the outer edge of the oil pan. To remove them, use a crisscross pattern; remove a bolt from one side of the pan, then from the opposite side.3. Remove the engine mount strut bracket, the drive belt and the lower and upper air compressor bolts. These are located right next to the oil pan, and require a wrench to remove them.
