5. Insert the shaft with the small circular retainer into the motor. The circular retainer should be facing toward the distributor.
6. Bolt the oil pump onto the motor using the oil pump bolts.
7. Reinstall the oil pan by screwing in the oil pan bolts. Tighten with a socket wrench.
