The Xeric Xeriscope Orbiting Mechanical Watch
This is exciting news, the guys at Watchismo are now making their own name brand watch. This is the Xeric. Watchismo has had 15 years to look over every possible watch known to
man and they took all that knowledge and put together a beautiful sophisticated time piece. There will be a limited edition 100 numbered to each make of the Xeric.
There is so many features, lets start off with the case. The case is a stainless steel that is 13 mm thick and 45 mm wide. The details may vary from a smooth edge or a etched beveled edge. There will be 6 different colors as well. The crown is etched and a logo embedded. The face in either black or white is embedded with a diamond pattern that really gives the watch a exquisite look and depth.
Each watch has a power reserve indicator that will move with winding the watch. There is also a dual time, dual display on the face that can be set in different time zones. If you look at the 12 o Clock position you will see a rare doubled sided minute hand with two tier arc of digits.
Now for the real guts and final shocker for this great time piece. The watch is powered by a automatic rotor that last up to 50 hours and the front case has a open fully exposed mechanical IS movement. The bottom has a balanced oscillating wheel that moves the Xeriscope that has a hour hand on it to tell time.Every part works in unison to give you an exact time and is viewable from the crystal on the front and back side. A time piece that will catch the eye of the most intricate watch collector.
The watch has a set of beautiful hand crafted leather straps in black, tan and brown or a sophisticated stainless steel mesh band in black, gold, silver and rose gold. The team that designed this watch are Mitch and Andrew Greenblatt the founders of Watchimo online watch store. The duo figured since they didn't have all the red tape and added costs of running their business they could put that time and effort to use in building a great affordable mechanical watch. They presented their ideas to the Watchismo Lab for analysis and hit a home run with this unique watch.
