Remove Honda Journey Rear Caliper Pads

The Honda Odyssey rear caliper pads are secured into the brake caliper with tabs that are integrated into the pad meeting. When the brake pads, further called brake linings, wear gone on the pad, you'll desideratum to interchange the unit with a brand-new brake pad. But, removing the pad from the caliper can be a bit tricky. Once you get the Odyssey off the ground and the revolve off, it's future to remove the pads from the caliper meeting.


Instructions


1. Fix the caliper pin bolt. This bolt is a petite, 10 mm, bolt on the backside of the caliper that secures the caliper to the caliper bracket. The pin bolt is the bottom-most bolt on the caliper. To get the pads out, you need to remove this bolt. Turn the bolt counterclockwise to remove it.


Slide the caliper off the brake rotor.4. Swing the caliper bracket open from the bottom of the caliper. The brake pads should come out with no trouble.
