Torano Brand Bought Out!
General Cigar has just acquired all the
Torano Family Cigar brands. The CEO
Charlie Torano just announced the
General Cigar has bought all the brands
and will fill his shoes from this day
forward. The company of Torano has
been around since 1916 providing the
best cigars for a long time.
Torano has famous brands like the Exodus, the Vault, the Master Collection, the Fortress, the Reserva Select and more.
The General Cigar has been distributing cigars since 1902 and have a great background in the industry. The name Torano Family Cigar will not be apart of the purchase.
The two major companies have worked together in the past. The Torano family sold Cuban tobacco to the owner of General Cigar Edgar Cullman Sr.
The Torano family always stayed in business with General Cigar even after the Cuba Embargo.
The cigar factories that the Torano family owned were already sold and General Cigar had merged with STG and started making the Torano cigars out of those factories anyway.
Charlie Torano will stay on board for a while for consulting purposes then hand over the reigns to General Cigar.
