Housed in this unique wooden box is the
Gurkha Cellar Reserve Cigars. Gurkha is  
known for rare tobacco cigars and their
luxury packaging. Gurkha has had well
over a century of cigar making and now
they have taken a 15 year old blend of
tobacco and made The Cellar Reserve.

The Cellar comes in a box of 20 and will
be available in the following sizes.

The makeup of this cigar comes from a 15 year aged Dominican filler and Dominican Olor binder. The wrapper is a 1998 Criollo.

The smoke is definitely a 3/4 full body cigar. The first thing you will notice is the large band wrapped around the oily cigar. The Especial will have the white band resembling a wine band with a description of the 15 year aged tobacco and mark noting it is at a 97.6% blend strength.

This cigar is full of aroma upon lighting. A strong cedar smell then a spicy earth flavor. Plunging into the cigar the first quarter brought a strange spicy grapefruit taste and a nice medium gray smoke.
In the middle of this smoke it seems to mellow out bringing a dark chocolate flavor mixed with a smoked wood aroma.
Pealing off the band and getting into the home stretch of this cigar brought more earth taste and thick gray smoke. The cigar stayed comfortably lit the whole way through and there was no construction problems.

I had this cigar with a lemon infused beer that seemed to bring out the flavors. I would recommend keeping a few of these in your humidor.
