Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee
Nestled deep in the Blue Mountains at
3000 ft is a plant that is the only plant
that produces the magical coffee from
the bean to the cup. Mavis Bank Central Factory has been a fully integrated factory since 1920. The family has been in the business since 1885.
The Mavis Bank Central Factory handles 40% of all the coffee production off the Blue Mountain. To ensure that customers get the very best quality legislation was passed to regulate what boundaries qualify as Blue Mountain. The family has been approved by the Coffee Industry Board to collect and distribute the coffee.
Mavis Bank Central Factory also works very closely with 3 to 4 small individual farms and estates to get the quality beans. The mountains are divided producing various beans of taste and sizes. The Blue Mountain has beans are blue/green in color and are full of aroma with good body and are very clean.
The Mavis Bank Central Factory exports over 70% of the coffee produced and each barrel is marked M.B.C.F. and approved prior to leaving. The family will continue to bring you the very best as it has for over four generations.
