Thank You Troops!

Most of us have been around long enough to have experienced a War of some kind or we know someone who has been to War. The told stories can be horrific! Imagine what the untold stories are like? The experiences are all different and unique. I have many friends that have endured  War in the Desert Storm, Iraq and Iran. All human beings wish for a peaceful world where opinions are just that opinions and that those opinions don't lead to War.

During those Wars our Soldiers have very little personal time in which to "unwind" and think of something other than the dangerous task at hand. I have spoken to several Soldiers in regards to the staying mentally tough and the need to take a moment to relax and have the feeling that that load on their back if off for a few minutes or hours.

The Soldiers express that a few moments of throwing a football, playing cards, reading and just talking about life while having a nice cigar! A Soldier will tell you the US comes before any personal time and that the task at hand is always in the front of their mind. I am here to tell every Soldier that we haven't got a doubt when it comes to that, all we have to do is look and see the great achievements that you all have accomplished! I do however hope that during the times of War every Soldier gets a few moments to move their mind away from the tough task and gets to laugh and talk about something they are interested in whether it is a car, sports, girls and guys, hobbies and live life the way it was INTENDED to be....Peaceful.

Anyway this is merely a thanks, a salute to all of you that carry the important task of keeping America safe and helping others be freed from the horrors that non-humans inflict upon them. I hope that every Soldier comes home unharmed and that their families live in peace.
