DB4 GT ZAGATO
This iconic design has only 19 examples built. The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato was born in 1959 by the Italian Coach Builder and unveiled to the world. The DB4 was standard in which Aston Martin still holds today. The DB4 GT set the tone for the classic DB5. The rare DB4 GT is hard to find and fetches over 1.3 million at auctions around the world.
The sports classic is driven by a DOHC straight 6 with 314 bhp. This is controlled by the 4 speed manual transmission. The suspension is held firm by the front telescopic shock absorbers and a anti-roll bar. The rear has a double action arm shock absorber. The 0 to 60 is at 6.1 and the curb weight is 1269 kg.
The GT was lighter than the DB4 which gave this car the feeling of the race version. The top speed for this beauty was 153 mph.
The DB4 GT was a competitor in the 1961 Le Mans. The production for these artistic designs lasted from 1959 - 1963.
