Before/After:: Chalk Paint Transformation

We helped a client update her pantry/cupboard by replacing a piece that didn't have a great capacity for storage with something a bit taller and more suited to her needs.  The piece came at a great price, but she didn't like the stain on it.  In an hour, we had a completely different look, thanks to chalk paint!

Here's her original piece of furniture:

We found this great cupboard, which fits perfectly in the space.

 



 

 

We mixed three colors together, from the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint line:  Aubusson Blue, Louis Blue, and Paris Grey.

We really like how you can see the original finish underneath, so it looks layered and a bit funky, like it's got some history behind it!
