My grandma made this as one of her favorites, and it's on my short list too!
I usually use boneless pork chops, but you can use bone-in if you prefer. Spread 5-7 pork chops in the base of a 9x13 pyrex glass pan. In a separate bowl, make the sauce: combine 1/2 cup each of ketchup, vinegar, and water. Then add a teaspoon of celery seed, a teaspoon of garlic powder, a little brown sugar and a dash of nutmeg. Whisk this together and pour over the pork chops. Add one bay leaf. Cover with foil and bake for 50-60 minutes in a 400 degree oven. Serve with mashed potatoes or brown rice and make sure you spoon the extra sauce over each portion.
