Microsoft has to put Windows XP to bed sometime. However, forcing a user's hand by threatening their security in hopes of making them upgrade is not how you show your customers that you care about them. With all the good non-Windows options available today, now is the time to befriend your users, not bully them.



If you continue to use Windows XP after it goes end-of-life next April you won't just be without security patches. You'll be without signature updates for your Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus.
