Avoid the 1.6 which dishes out 107hp. It is paired with a 5-speed manual, which you have to squeeze every ounce of power to move decently. Parts acquisition is hard, since this is sourced from a Fiat.
The better choice is the Mitsubishi sourced 123hp 2.0 gasoline, that was made available in 2009. This gives the Tiggo less stress on accelerating plus components are shared with the Galant and Adventure, which makes maintenance costs easy. You can only have an automatic transmission with this.
All models get alloy wheels, dual airbags, ABS brakes, fog lamps, roof rails, rear cargo cover, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and CD player. The only available drivetrain is front wheel drive.
