Kaptai Lake - A Beautiful Lake in Bangladesh

Kaptai Lake is a beautiful freshwater lake in Bangladesh. Located in the hilly district of Rangamati in the south-eastern region of Bangladesh, Kaptai Lake is the largest man-made lake in the country. Created during the 1960's, the Kaptai Lake covers an area of approximately 11,000 square kilometers. The lake has an average depth of 100 feet and maximum depth is 495 feet.
