[Beauty Buzz] Kaleidoscope Eyes with Giorgio Armani & YSL Beauty

Taking a runway beauty look straight to the street can be tricky (and often times a huge mistake,) but Giorgio Armani & YSL Beauty makeup artist Bianca Festa proved to me that even an over-the-top look like "Kaleidoscope Eyes" can be effortlessly cool when tweaked for real life.

What's an easy, cost-effective way to refresh your look for the season? Makeup! The Fall 2013 runways were packed with gorgeous jewel tones and loud embellishments, and this look is as close to eye candy as you can get.

Kaleidoscope Eyes: Bianca used Giorgio Armani Kaleidoscope Face & Eye Palettes #1 & #2 using three different shadow shades to create the multi-dimensional look. The key? Blend, blend, blend, starting at the inner corner of the eye. I love this trio of aqua, blue and purple shadows because they play up the green in my eyes. To make the look more defined, Bianca applied YSL babydoll liquid liner to the top of my lid in a coordinating iridescent hue.

Bianca doing her thang! When creating a dramatic eye look it's always best to start with the eyes first, then later going back to "clean up" with concealer, foundation and finishing powder. When it comes to skin, glowing and silky is what you'll get with Giorgio Armani's best selling luminous silk foundation. Somehow I had never tried it until Bianca applied it on me during our trial, but I had to buy it on the spot. For an added J.Lo glow, apply Giorgio Armani fluid sheer in rose and pink as blush and highlight. (My new favorite beauty trick.)
