Chikka is one of the most popular free text messaging service to the Filipinos around the world, it is very easy and convenient to use and it’s free. Using your PC, laptap or smartphone you can send your message to the mobile of your family in the Philippines or anywhere in the world if they are using roaming number. Chikka also created an app for facebook called chikkalite for more convenient, if you added and setup your chikkalite app in your facebook no need to log in or log-out everytime you want to use the chikka.
Using Chikkalite in Facebook
In this post I will teach you how to add your friends mobile number on chikkalite app. If your friends already using chikkalite app it will automatically add to your contacts in chikkalite app you will see their names in your contact list. See the picture below.
If your friend not in the list you can put directly the number, just follow the format or if you want to save the number you can always add anytime , follow these simple steps click on the add buddy + sign, see the picture below.
A window will popup, enter your friends mobile number, the number should start in 63 Philippine country code without + sign and remove the 0 in front, example if the number you want to add is 01234567891 it should become 631234567891, see the picture below.
Click the add button to add the number in your contact list, after you add your friends number you can rename it to recognize easily, follow the steps. First find the number that you add in the buddy list, see the picture below
Second, enter your friends name in the popup window to rename the number you added, see picture below.
That’s all you can now easily use chikka everytime you want to send message to you friends and family in the Philippines while using your facebook account.
