You know them. They’re the comedians, dancers, musicians, singers, gamers and models who you watch, replay, and then forward on to your mates. Their view counts and subscribers are in the millions. Now, the world’s biggest YouTube sensations are stepping away from their webcams to entertain you here in Sydney.
VIDinc, Australia's first major YouTuber festival, will open on August 18 in Sydney. The event will include live performances, DJs, dance-offs, and so much action that we had to organise two stages for the event.
International talent like Jenna Marbles, Nigahiga and Tobuscus are descending on Sydney to join forces with local talent such as Jayesslee, Veritasium and Jordan Jansen for fan meet and greets, workshops, and live performances. For any prospective Youtubers, there will be workshops on August 17 to inspire and educate you on how to script, present, produce and commercialise your own videos.
For more information on the artists, workshops and to get tickets for VIDinc 2013, check out www.vidinc.com.au.
