Located in Appenzell area in Switzerland, Aescher Hotel is an amazing mountain guesthouse. The guesthouse is tucked into the side of a mountain with a towering cliff above. The name of the mountain is Ebenalp, the northernmost summit of the Appenzell Alps in Switzerland. Aescher Hotel offers a breathtaking view of the valley below the mountain. It is a beautiful tourist attraction for hikers.
Aescher Hotel was carefully built into the side of a mountain during the 19th century. Since then, this modest guesthouse has been operated by the same family. Aescher Guesthouse is accessible only by a combination of cable car and hiking. The Aescher remains open for six months from May to October. Rest of the year, access to the guesthouse becomes quite impossible and for this reason it remains closed.
Aescher Guesthouse has several rooms with mattresses that are designed to throw a sleeping bag on. There is also a nice restaurant in the guesthouse for the visitors. Aescher Hotel looks like a dreamy spot to bundle up on a cool, overcast morning. The scenery that the guesthouse offers is really amazing.
