Tool Checklist For the New Mechanic

Hello everyone and welcome back to my short series on auto tools for the new weekend warrior auto mechanic. In past articles I've covered some tools that every new auto mechanic should consider including in their tool collections and in today's article I've put together a checklist for you. This way you can easily print out this checklist and take it to the store with you when you go shopping. Now if you haven't read the articles before this, it's okay you can go back and catch up. This list will still provide you with an understanding of things you should be on the prowl for while looking for the best prices. Of course, for the more experienced mechanics reading this article, the list will also provide the benefit to you of having a travel checklist if you are on your way to the race track, or other motor sports event.

So here is a great list of tools you should have at all times:

Combination wrenches
Standard Screwdrivers
Philips screwdrivers
Screw holder
Offset or Distributor Wrench
Ignition wrenches
Allen key wrenches
Socket wrench set
Flexible head extension
