Ferrari Enzo - One of the Most Exclusive Supercars

Over the years Ferrari has introduced a series of supercars like the GTO, F40 and F50, which have represented the very pinnacle of the company’s technological achievements transferred to its road cars. The Ferrari Enzo joined this family of extreme performance cars in 2002. It was named after the company's founder, Enzo Ferrari.

It was the expression of the latest Formula One technology and know-how. Just 400 examples were built of the Enzo.


The Ferrari Enzo is a 12 cylinder mid-engine supercar. It was built in 2002 using Formula One technology. The supercar featured advanced composite bodywork and a carbon-fibre and aluminium honeycomb sandwich chassis. The Ferrari Enzo was equipped with a V12 producing 660hp. The Enzo's V12 engine is the first of a new generation for Ferrari.


The Ferrari Enzo was designed by the Japanese designer Ken Okuyama. It was initially announced at the 2002 Paris Motor Show with a limited production run of 349. All 349 cars were sold in this way before production began. Later, after numerous requests, Ferrari decided to build 50 more Enzos. Another single piece was built for charity, bringing the total to only 400.

The Ferrari Enzo is one of the world's fastest cars with a top speed of 350 km/h and an acceleration of 0-60 in 3.4 secs. The base price of Enzo was $670,000. However, the price goes up every time someone crashes.
