There are eight guards in "Pokemon LeafGreen" protecting the entrance to Victory Road, which leads to an encounter with the Elite Four, the final bosses in the game. In order to get past each of the guards, you need to defeat the eight gym leaders scattered throughout the region of Kanto. Each of the eight guards asks to see the badges you have collected from the gym leaders before he lets you pass.

Turn the Game Boy Advance system on and press "Start" at the title screen. Select "Continue" and press "Start." Check that you have all eight badges from the gym leaders.
2Make your way to Viridian City and go toward the western exit of the city. Continue past the grassy patches until you reach a building. This building leads to Victory Road. Enter the building.
3Talk to the first guard inside the building. He will check to see if you have the first badge. If you do, he will let you into the next room. Show your other badges to other guards. As long as you have the badges, the guards should let you through.
