The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

General Motors has debuted the all new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. In terms of design, technology and performance, this luxury sports car is second to none. According to General Motors, the 2014 Corvette Stingray is "the most capable standard model ever."

The seventh generation of the iconic American sports car, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, looks great. It has improved interior and redesigned exterior and it exudes beauty from every angle. The rear fenders of the car  flow into the rear bumper with almost all the details of a supercar. There are also a number of sharp edges.

But the design is not everything about the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. There is also performance to match those supercar-like looks. It is the most powerful and capable standard model ever. The all new Corvette comes with 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that generates an estimated 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. It is able to accelerate from 0-60 in less than four seconds.

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is also expected to be the most fuel-efficient Corvette ever. It will surpass the EPA-estimated 26 mpg of the current model. The 2014 Corvette has a seven-speed manual transmission. A six-speed auto with paddle shifters is also offered.
