How to Replcace a Ball Joint on a 1993 F150 XLT Truck

The ball joints on your 1993 F-150 XLT truck are situated on the underside of the vehicle, connecting the wheels of the truck to its steering linkage. Without the ball joints, your F-150 cannot be steered properly as the wheels won't be connected to the steering linkage. If your ball joints are damaged in an accident or wear out over time, you can easily replace them in a little over an hour.

Place a jack underneath the F-150 and lift it up. Remove the bolts from the tire with a wheel wrench and pull the tire off.
